Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to define test strategies and scenarios.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution schedules.
- Estimate testing effort, identify risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
- Perform system integration, user acceptance support, regression, functional, API, end-to-end, and database validation testing.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and validate business processes, interfaces, APIs, and data flows.
- Manage defects, provide quality-focused feedback during requirement reviews, and support regulatory and compliance testing.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Operations teams.
- Provide testing status updates and participate in project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent.
- Experience with test planning, test strategy, test case design, functional, integration, regression, API, end-to-end, risk-based, and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of defect management, SQL querying, data validation, log analysis, API validation, and microservices testing.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM / Quality Center, TestRail, Postman, SoapUI, Jenkins, Git, and Confluence.
- Automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Java, Python, C#, or REST Assured is desirable.
- Advanced testing certifications are desirable.
- Banking and financial services, wealth management, Avaloq, payments, transaction processing, regulatory testing, or digital banking experience is preferred.
