Responsibilities
- Plan and execute tests for software changes that meet business requirements and performance expectations.
- Automate regression test suites, redundant tasks, and test-data generation.
- Maintain and present project-related metrics for management review.
- Coordinate testing and project activities among teams in multiple locations and with vendors.
- Contribute to quality initiatives and provide technical guidance to less-experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–6 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe testing, preferably including batch and online testing.
- Experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, PROC, Micro Focus COBOL, TWS Scheduler, and DB2 LUW.
- Experience with automation, BDD frameworks, Selenium, and AI tools.
- Experience with CI and CD, the software testing life cycle, and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of the payments and cards industry.
- Strong communication skills and experience leading or spearheading quality initiatives.
