Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and adapt Jira, Confluence, and Codebeamer/Retina solutions for Roche’s enterprise environment.
- Design, build, deploy, and sustain full-stack software enhancements.
- Develop AI features including agentic operations and AI assistants to improve user workflows.
- Lead high-impact software test-automation initiatives.
- Manage infrastructure delivery using container solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and validate solutions in a regulated GxP context.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and architectural challenges.
- Lead small-to-medium technical initiatives from conception through production.
- Mentor peers and junior engineers, support knowledge sharing, and communicate technical priorities to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on programming expertise in some of Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong full-stack development capabilities and experience improving software delivery from code through production.
- Extensive experience leading and executing automation initiatives, with deep specialization in software test automation.
- Hands-on experience developing applied AI solutions, including Model Context Protocol creation and validation, agentic operations, and agentic testing or similar frameworks.
- Experience developing and validating software in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated GxP environments.
- Strong knowledge of the infrastructure delivery lifecycle and hands-on experience deploying and managing container solutions.
- Experience configuring, extending, or integrating enterprise ALM tools such as Jira and Codebeamer.
- Track record of leading small-to-medium initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and working effectively in matrixed organizations.
