Responsibilities
- Move between manual and automated testing based on team needs, features, and timelines.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle and produce quality code.
- Create and maintain automated testing scripts, frameworks, test suites, test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Write code to exercise APIs, RESTful APIs, web services, and other non-UI components for testing.
- Integrate automated test suites with continuous integration tools for frequent execution.
- Coordinate test activities, prioritize test execution, review client test plans and scripts, and provide feedback to internal and external clients.
- Serve as a test engineering point of contact for assigned moderately complex client projects.
- Identify process improvements and continuous quality measures across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Java.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and server tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience maintaining automation frameworks and test tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Selenium.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, self-motivation, resourcefulness, teamwork, and pride in work.
- Preferred experience with Appium, HTML, CSS, XPath, ADB, Maven, API testing, Cucumber, Gherkin, automation framework creation, point-of-sale systems, GCP, and AWS.
