Responsibilities
- Create and execute automated test scripts using SoapUI or ReadyAPI.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform GUI and non-GUI functional, regression, security, and performance testing.
- Execute load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests and analyze performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot issues with different teams to identify and resolve root causes.
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and coordinate testing activities with the development team.
- Organize status meetings and prepare daily and weekly status reports.
Requirements
- Prior software testing experience and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with API testing using SOAP UI or Postman.
- Programming experience with C#, Java, or Groovy.
- Good knowledge of software development and software testing life cycles.
- Practical experience with XML-based system interfaces and XML-based tools is preferred.
- Experience testing airline reservation systems, Global Distribution Systems, or other travel-industry systems is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field.
