Responsibilities
- Develop new real-time, low-latency pricing services for FX Spot, Swaps, and NDF auto-hedging.
- Build features and enhancements for existing pricing and auto-hedging services.
- Update the codebase for external venue upgrades and internal or external regulatory requirements.
- Write, review, and maintain Java code throughout the Agile software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Quantitative Strategies Group, traders, and EFX sibling teams on requirements, code quality, and backtesting capabilities.
- Provide occasional third-line production support and independently manage tasks through completion.
Requirements
- Solid experience in Java server-side development and knowledge spanning Java, Linux, and networks.
- Experience with KDB/Q and prior pricing or algorithmic trading experience in any asset class.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and multithreading.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Excellent communication skills for working with technology management, quantitative strategists, and trading desks.
- Experience in third-line production support and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
