Responsibilities

Build innovative, scalable, and resilient solutions for the strategic Post Trade Data Platform.
Define and drive platform architecture and strategy for future Operations and business needs.
Provide technical leadership through architecture, design, code reviews, and pull request reviews.
Mentor engineers and improve platform capabilities, development practices, and operational effectiveness.

Deep expertise in Scala, Java, or another JVM language, including performance optimization and tuning.
Strong experience with database technologies such as Oracle Exadata at scale, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar platforms.
Solid cloud and DevOps knowledge, including Linux/Unix, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Ansible.
Experience building and supporting reactive, event-sourced systems.
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Apache Flink.
Strong understanding of Apache HTTP, Envoy, and REST API design.
Experience with Protobuf, Avro, and Parquet data formats.
Knowledge of Iceberg, Databricks, and Hadoop ecosystems.
Experience with TDD, ATDD, Clean Coding, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Gradle is helpful.
Experience with Scrum/Agile methods, design patterns, software engineering best practices, and collaborative team working is helpful.
