Responsibilities
- Manage test cases, including scenarios, preconditions, steps, expected results, prioritization, and risk assessment.
- Execute and maintain automated and manual tests for release candidates, release processes, and released software and platform changes.
- Develop automated tests that compare expected and actual results.
- Test REST API endpoints, web user interfaces, browser compatibility, usability, and application behavior.
- Implement, integrate, and execute test automation pipelines.
- Contribute to requirements refinement, effort assessment, test development, documentation, reporting, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with globally distributed developers, testers, architects, escalation engineers, and platform engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software testing experience.
- Previous enterprise software quality assurance experience using test automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Proficient Python programming experience.
- Experience with REST API endpoint testing, cloud services, test case management, bug tracking, and version control.
- Experience with web UI testing, browser compatibility testing, UX principles, and usability testing.
- Ability to use automation pipelines such as Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and effective team collaboration.
- Preferred experience with PyTest, Playwright, Windows, Linux, Mac, PowerShell, Bash, Azure services, networking, Active Directory, IAM, cryptographic protocols, performance/load testing, application and data security, compliance, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools or openness to adopting them.
