Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of novel algorithms for motion planning in autonomous driving.
- Define new or upgrade existing interfaces to solve complex problems.
- Monitor system performance and develop strategies for improvement.
- Guide cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Architect and integrate motion planning and prediction algorithms.
- Design and build a robust, scalable codebase for motion planning.
- Drive collaboration with perception and prediction components.
- Mentor junior and senior team members in software practices.
Requirements
- PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or a Master's with 7+ years of experience.
- 10+ years of research experience in robotics or motion planning.
- 5+ years of C++ software development experience.
- Proven track record of leading technical development on complex features.
- Strong desire for continuous innovation in autonomous driving technology.
