Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Linux kernel components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Write high-quality, modular, and well-documented code in C.
- Develop and maintain kernel-specific testing and automation tools.
- Debug and resolve complex kernel-level issues.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers for seamless integration.
- Stay updated with advancements in the Linux kernel community.
- Review code submissions and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of kernel components.
- Document design decisions, APIs, and processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux kernel development.
- Proficiency in C programming and low-level system programming concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals and device drivers.
- Familiarity with hardware platforms, including x86 and ARM.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities.
