Base Salary
$100k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build systems for the Submission Processing team
- Make architectural decisions under ambiguity and help set the team’s technical direction
- Build and scale LLM-based systems that process billions of unstructured data points daily
- Extract precise information and surface insights used in high-stakes insurance decisions
- Own end-to-end outcomes and contribute to production systems with significant individual impact
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving
- Production experience with LLMs and understanding of deploying them at scale
- Experience with AWS, Lambda, EC2, serverless technologies, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments
- Proficiency in Python or a strong background in another object-oriented language
- Comfort with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Ability to own work end to end, drive projects with minimal oversight, communicate proactively, and iterate through experimentation
- Document pipeline and large-scale data processing experience is a bonus
