Responsibilities
- Find technical solutions for game development challenges.
- Write readable, maintainable, and debuggable code.
- Participate in planning meetings and align stakeholders on task specifications.
- Improve team quality and development processes by eliminating waste.
- Communicate risks, perform code reviews, and write technical design documents.
- Develop AAA-quality game titles in cross-functional teams.
- Debug and profile large codebases and optimize FPS and memory consumption.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of game development experience.
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine or custom C++ engines.
- Knowledge of game engine components including rendering, AI, networking, navigation, physics, and UI.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and coding architecture principles.
- Preferred: experience shipping at least one PC or console title.
- Preferred: understanding of cross-platform game development.
- Preferred: 3D rendering programming experience with DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, or Gnmx.
- Preferred: understanding of client-server communication and socket-based network protocols.
- Preferred: experience with unit test and integration test frameworks.
