Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement software according to coding guidelines while optimizing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Evaluate and test personal software, software from other engineering staff, and third-party software.
- Create technical documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.
- Attend design reviews and follow software development procedures.
- Document and repair software errors.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to complete Product Engineering projects with minimal guidance.
- Support software based on microservices architecture across on-premises and cloud-native environments.
- Use source code management and work tracking tools such as GitHub and JIRA.
- Participate in professional development programs, literature reviews, meetings, and workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible Research & Development experience with coding responsibilities.
- Coding experience with languages such as Python, Java, Go, C, C++, or C#.
- Experience with multiple database implementations, including MySQL, SQL Server, and non-relational databases.
- Experience with enterprise software environments and scalable software solutions.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
- Preferred experience with Go or Java, React, Node.js, Spring, Ruby, containerization, TLS/PKI, OAuth 2.0, Kafka, RabbitMQ, monitoring, observability, systems management, and centralized logging.
- Preferred experience with public cloud technologies, REST architecture, RPC protocols, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Terraform, and Pulumi.
- Preferred experience in healthcare environments and agile development environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
