Base Salary
$135k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of cloud-based APIs, websites, and applications for healthcare data delivery, customer onboarding, account management, and hospital and partner integrations.
- Gather and document technical requirements and select development approaches for uncertain and changing requirements.
- Drive and influence technical architecture and design and evangelize platform capabilities across a broader audience.
- Interface with product managers, technical support, and customers to support integrations, onboarding, sustaining activities, and customer feedback.
- Apply development, testing, and deployment best practices and identify opportunities to improve quality management and business processes.
- Support product assurance in diagnosing and resolving bugs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for applications.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 2–5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0–2 years of experience.
- Rich experience developing full-stack applications, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of modern authentication and single sign-on frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and SAML.
- Excellent programming skills in Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, or similar languages.
- Experience building frontend and backend applications in distributed systems using message brokers.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, or relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with modern software testing tools and equipment.
- Experience building cloud-based container components and CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, manage time effectively, meet schedules, and participate in Agile software development.
- Healthcare experience with EHRs such as Epic or Cerner, FHIR integrations, or HL7v2 is a bonus.
