Base Salary
$135k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of cloud-based APIs and websites for healthcare data delivery, customer onboarding, account management, and partner integrations.
- Gather and document technical requirements and select development approaches for uncertain and changing requirements.
- Drive technical architecture and design decisions and evangelize platform capabilities.
- Develop, test, and deploy frontend and backend applications in a distributed cloud environment.
- Interface with product managers, technical support, customers, and integration partners to provide support and communicate feedback.
- Optimize quality management and business processes and support product assurance with bug diagnosis and resolution.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 2–5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0–2 years of experience.
- Rich experience developing full-stack applications, preferably in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of modern authentication and single sign-on frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and SAML.
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, or similar languages.
- Experience building frontend and backend applications in distributed systems using message brokers.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, or relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with cloud-based components, containers, and CI/CD pipelines, including exposure to GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, manage time effectively, meet schedules, and participate in Agile software development.
- Healthcare experience with EHRs such as Epic or Cerner, FHIR integrations, or HL7v2 and other healthcare interoperability protocols is a bonus.
