Responsibilities
- Interact with architects, development leaders, business stakeholders, and development team members to design and deliver software enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership for multi-layered business, application, data, and infrastructure architectures.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Develop or direct software testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Evaluate reporting, cost, security, and other factors to determine hardware configurations.
- Supervise and assign work to programmers, designers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering or scientific personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related role.
- Five years of experience delivering Java and JEE business solutions and working across the full software development lifecycle.
- Five years of experience with SQL, Oracle, object-oriented analysis and design, JUnit, Mocks, Pair Programming, Hibernate, REST, SOAP, WebLogic, Microservices, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Spark, Kubernetes, Akka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Redis, Bitbucket, and Maven.
- Three years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, and Adobe CQ.
- Experience with Agile development techniques, including test-driven development.
