Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for reliable, scalable, and secure production systems.
- Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows for production services across Netlify and AWS.
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases through query optimization, indexing, capacity planning, and cost-efficiency improvements.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Own security controls including secrets management, IAM, audit logging, encryption, and access controls.
- Establish monitoring and alerting with Grafana and Datadog.
- Improve system observability through metrics, logging, tracing, and incident response capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building and owning production infrastructure.
- Expertise in serverless architecture using AWS Lambda or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience designing and owning CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
- Knowledge of IAM least privilege, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, and PII handling.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python for automation, scripting, and infrastructure code.
- Fintech, regulated data, SOC 2, banking rails, payment processor, or financial data integration experience is a bonus.
