Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality, scalable software solutions and algorithms.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs through review, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Apply SDLC tools and automation capabilities to improve delivery and team effectiveness.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify problems and patterns and improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Build or enable release automation and support cloud deployments, observability, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python or Java.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitHub, plus working knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployments, Grafana, Prometheus, scalable systems, release management, and Terraform.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating and refining generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
