Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of software across mobile, web, desktop, and embedded domains under a disciplined product-development process meeting FDA requirements.
- Design, code, validate, and support verification and validation testing for medical-device software.
- Implement data-processing algorithms efficiently in C, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Define and implement data management and data flow in embedded environments.
- Ensure product development conforms to design specifications and coding standards.
- Develop productive internal and external working relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 7+ years of software-development experience, or a master’s degree and 5+ years of experience, with qualifying programming-heavy coursework, projects, freelance work, or professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of embedded software-system design, algorithm development, and data processing across embedded and other computing platforms.
- Experience with C, C++, structured software development or object modeling, digital data processing, debuggers, and ICE.
- Familiarity with current development tools, IDEs, debuggers, and unit-test frameworks.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with software-development lifecycle processes, long-term maintenance of software modules or libraries, software testing, medical-device design controls and regulations, and ISO- or IEEE-aligned software lifecycle standards recognized by the FDA.

- Base pay is stated at $114,000.00–$228,000.00 per year, with location-specific variation possible.
