Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and functional maps into technical designs and frameworks.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and code, with hands-on coding as needed.
- Validate development builds and provide early feedback to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Support production teams in resolving issues and improving productivity through tools.
- Collaborate with Agile team members to deliver business value.
- Guide and mentor junior developers on the Java J2EE technology stack.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience developing applications with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with messaging and integration middleware such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of web frameworks and micro front ends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
- Hands-on experience with process tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Experience with SVN and Git.
- Knowledge of unit testing and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline processes.
- Good understanding of payment systems, including real-time capabilities, is preferred.
