Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support production-grade full-stack AI applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build responsive frontend applications and scalable backend services, REST APIs, microservices, integration layers, and event-driven components.
- Integrate Vertex AI, Gemini, Generative AI APIs, LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, semantic search, conversational AI, recommendations, summarization, and document-processing capabilities.
- Implement data persistence and enterprise integrations across databases, document repositories, APIs, third-party services, and internal applications.
- Develop cloud-native solutions using GCP compute, storage, messaging, API management, identity, and secrets-management services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, API security, IAM, OAuth/OIDC, service accounts, access controls, and secure software practices.
- Optimize application performance, model response time, token usage, scalability, caching, resilience, and cloud costs.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure deployment, logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting, and production observability.
- Troubleshoot issues across user interfaces, APIs, backend services, AI integrations, databases, containers, networking, authentication, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, AI and data engineers, UX designers, security and DevOps teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of AI or Generative AI experience.
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in B.Tech, BE, M.Tech, or MCA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and production-grade cloud-native application development.
- Strong full-stack experience with frontend frameworks, backend programming, APIs, databases, distributed architectures, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Vertex AI, Gemini models, Generative AI platforms, LLM application patterns, prompt engineering, embeddings, grounding, and model APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures, vector search, semantic search, document ingestion, chunking, metadata filtering, and retrieval strategies.
- Experience with React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, Node.js, and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, Spring Boot, Express.js, or NestJS.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, vector databases or search technologies, containers, Kubernetes, asynchronous architectures, authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Experience with Git-based development, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and preferably Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Understanding of AI application concerns including hallucination management, guardrails, responsible AI, privacy, content safety, evaluation, latency, token consumption, and cost optimization.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Google Agent Development Kit, Model Context Protocol, or Agent2Agent communication is advantageous.
- Strong system-design, troubleshooting, communication, mentoring, stakeholder-collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
