Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM, and machine learning applications on GCP using Vertex AI and Gemini.
- Develop AI agents supporting reasoning, retrieval, tool calling, planning, workflow orchestration, memory, structured outputs, and multi-step task automation.
- Build RAG solutions using embeddings, vector search, semantic search, enterprise documents, and structured data.
- Develop backend APIs, microservices, data pipelines, connectors, integration services, agent tools, and reusable AI components.
- Integrate AI applications with GCP services, enterprise databases, APIs, document repositories, external systems, and business applications.
- Implement MCP clients or servers and A2A or multi-agent communication patterns where applicable.
- Use AI orchestration frameworks including Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
- Evaluate and improve accuracy, groundedness, hallucination reduction, prompt quality, retrieval quality, latency, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, observability, evaluation, guardrails, and production support mechanisms.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, data engineers, backend developers, ML engineers, security teams, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Follow software engineering practices including Git-based development, automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, documentation, security, and release management.
- Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, establish development standards, and support junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is stated, with the technical-skills section specifying a minimum of 6 years in backend development, data engineering, or a combination.
- One to two years of hands-on experience in Agentic AI, LLM applications, AI agents, RAG, Generative AI workflow automation, or multi-agent systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Google ADK.
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade Generative AI, LLM-powered, RAG, machine learning, Agentic AI, backend, API, microservice, data pipeline, cloud-native, or enterprise integration solutions.
- Strong Python programming skills; Java, Node.js, or other backend technologies are advantageous.
- Experience with MCP clients and servers, tool registration and execution, context retrieval, secure external-system integration, A2A patterns, and multi-agent communication.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of embeddings, vector search, semantic search, chunking, document ingestion, metadata handling, structured and unstructured data processing, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Amazon OpenSearch, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma, Milvus, or similar vector databases and search platforms.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, authentication, authorization, secrets management, secure API integration, and scalable cloud workloads.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Amazon SageMaker, or other AI platforms is preferred.
- Strong system design, performance optimization, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and work effectively in distributed, agile delivery teams.
- Graduation is required.
