Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, architecture designs, and reusable services.
- Define development standards, review code, conduct technical audits, and ensure engineering quality.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical production issues and escalations.
- Mentor developers and senior analysts while driving technical leadership and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, risk identification, release management, presales discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concept implementations.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience is required.
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA qualification is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript ecosystems, backend frameworks, and enterprise application development.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, or equivalent backend frameworks.
- Expertise in RESTful API design, microservices, asynchronous programming, concurrency, event-driven architecture, and software design principles.
- Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, authentication, authorization, security scanning, and governance practices.
- Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, source code management, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure or AWS, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks including Jest and integration testing approaches.
- Ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, optimize performance, debug production issues, and communicate with stakeholders.
