Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical architecture for Java-based microservices and scalable backend systems.
- Design, develop, and optimize Java/Spring Boot services, REST APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Establish coding standards and maintain secure, high-quality implementations with strong performance, concurrency, caching, and database efficiency.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and deployments on Kubernetes and cloud environments.
- Implement logging, metrics, monitoring, and distributed tracing for observability.
- Troubleshoot production issues, lead root cause analysis, and deliver stable long-term fixes.
- Enforce security best practices across services, APIs, and infrastructure integrations.
- Lead architecture and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and other cross-functional teams.
- Champion AI-assisted development practices to improve team velocity and code quality.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional experience is required.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed backend systems.
- Knowledge of JVM performance tuning, concurrency, threading, memory management, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Redis, Hazelcast, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Git, and modern version control workflows.
- Understanding of ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, OAuth2/OIDC, TLS/mTLS, secrets management, and secure coding.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development and AI-powered code review tools.
- Preferred experience includes Agile/Scrum, platform engineering, Internal Developer Platform tooling, NoSQL databases, service mesh technologies, API gateways, enterprise e-commerce platforms, and composable/headless commerce architecture.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and reviews, solve complex problems, mentor engineers, and drive end-to-end execution.
