Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and guide the team in delivering high-quality, scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Design, code, debug, unit test, document, and maintain large complex software applications.
- Make architectural and design decisions and drive end-to-end solutions for complex problems.
- Develop eCommerce store functionality, content capabilities, and integrations with external systems.
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews, guidance, and technical support.
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, and cross-functional teams on implementation and technical planning.
- Identify technical risks, recommend improvements, and research emerging software-engineering technologies.
- Act as a key troubleshooter for complex and escalated incidents and deliver work to agreed standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on software-development experience is required.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development experience with Java 11 or above and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, LogBack, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or Powermock.
- Understanding of exception handling, serialization/deserialization, immutability, collections, annotations, generics, multithreading, concurrency, and Java memory management.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, code-quality tools such as SonarQube, code-management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Ability to work independently, learn new technologies, communicate effectively, and address ambiguous technical problems.
