Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction of the team and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Design, code, debug, unit test, document, and maintain large and complex software applications.
- Make architectural and design decisions and drive end-to-end solutions for complex or ambiguous problems.
- Develop technical aspects of eCommerce stores, including commerce, content, and integrations with external systems.
- Mentor junior developers through guidance and code reviews and assist developers and consultants with implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex and escalated incidents and proactively identify technical risks and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical planning and follow development standards and architectural guidelines.
- Monitor emerging software engineering technologies, evaluate new ideas, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience is required.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Java 11 or above, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j logging frameworks.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Understanding of exception handling, serialization/deserialization, immutability, Java collections, annotations, generics, enums, autoboxing, multithreading, concurrency APIs, and Java memory management.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and writing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with SonarQube, code management tools, and caching mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving, logical and analytical skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical problems.
