Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and guide the team toward high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Design, code, debug, unit test, document, and maintain large and complex software applications.
- Make architectural and design decisions focused on scalability and maintainability.
- Develop technical aspects of eCommerce stores, including commerce, content, and external-system integrations.
- Create and consume RESTful web services and work with databases and SQL queries.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and drive end-to-end solutions for ambiguous problems.
- Mentor junior team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and implementation support.
- Identify technical risks, recommend improvements, and research emerging software engineering technologies.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java application development is required.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong Java 11 or later development experience, including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit tests using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and SQL queries.
- Experience creating RESTful web services and consuming web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, code management tools, caching mechanisms, and SonarQube.
- Strong problem-solving, logical and analytical skills, and understanding of Java memory management and garbage collection.
