Base Salary
$110k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications spanning frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Build RESTful APIs, gRPC and Thrift integrations, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
- Drive coding standards, automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, and designers.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on, production-grade full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, hooks, reusable UI components, and backend development using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience building APIs, services, and integrations using REST, gRPC, Thrift, and Koa.
- Understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, and RDS, and non-relational databases including MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Docker, CircleCI, Terraform, modern DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests using Jest, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and distributed teams, independently owning complex initiatives, solving problems, communicating with stakeholders, and mentoring engineers.
- Familiarity with Gemini, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot is required.
- Preferred experience includes Elasticsearch, monorepos, Bazel, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, shared UI component libraries, enterprise design systems, Kafka, AWS EventBridge, and real estate technology, marketplace platforms, or customer-facing SaaS products.
