Base Salary
$112k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write high-volume backend server applications.
- Build responsive microservices capable of handling millions of requests per day.
- Work with cloud technologies, microservice-based architectures, and workflow engines.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct code reviews for peers and junior engineers.
- Solve challenging platform and large-scale data problems with engineering teammates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable applications, including full-stack development.
- Experience with MySQL and Mongo databases.
- Strong knowledge of Spring and Java.
- Experience with Angular 2 or later, React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
- Familiarity with Hadoop, Solr, Lucene, Elasticsearch, and Apache Beam.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, including Jenkins, for builds, tests, dependency publishing, and application deployments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
