Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java full-stack services and React user interfaces for Medicare and Medicaid claims intake, validation, adjudication, status tracking, and reporting.
- Implement backend API layers, data access logic, and integration adapters for internal and external healthcare systems.
- Configure and refine React components, claim workflows, dashboards, and error-resolution experiences.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, demos, and iterative delivery.
- Translate eligibility, benefits, pricing, coverage, coordination-of-benefits, and regulatory rules into technical designs and acceptance criteria.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to maintain data integrity and prevent payment errors.
- Monitor application performance and operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning improvements.
- Document design decisions, API contracts, data mappings, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, claim operations, QA, compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze production incidents, review logs and data flows, implement targeted fixes, and prevent recurrence.
- Contribute reusable components, coding patterns, and automation scripts to improve delivery speed and reliability.
Requirements
- Extensive experience developing React applications using modular design, state management, and secure coding practices.
- Strong proficiency in Java full-stack development, including common frameworks, build tools, and testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methods, incremental planning, continuous integration, and collaborative ceremonies.
- Proven expertise in Medicare and Medicaid claims, including eligibility, benefits, pricing, coordination of benefits, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working effectively in hybrid environments with strong communication, collaboration, and accountability.
- Understanding of secure software development, data privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and other cross-functional teams.
