Responsibilities
- Design highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage systems.
- Develop middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, React-based internal interfaces, and third-party vendor integrations.
- Enhance the core framework to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
- Collaborate with technical leads and core teams across global regions.
- Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Serve as the regional operational reliability and engineering lead and incident commander during regional business hours.
- Support regional recruitment initiatives, cross-functional projects, engineering mentorship, and local engineering culture.
- Participate in on-call support for engineering projects when requested.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Go or similar backend languages and experience designing robust, efficient system architectures.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and proven software engineering architecture experience.
- Experience with event-driven design.
- Ability to lead and troubleshoot incidents and bugs as an incident commander.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and proactive execution skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
- Preferred experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Preferred experience with startups or fast-growing technology companies, global teams, domain-driven design, and emerging technologies.
- Preferred financial-services experience involving online trading platforms, brokerage systems, fintech, double-entry accounting, transaction processing, trade lifecycles, settlement, order management, execution, market data, financial APIs, regulatory compliance, or multi-currency high-availability applications.
