Responsibilities
- Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report findings.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using tools such as JIRA.
- Maintain and update automated test scripts as applications change.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with software engineering and cross-functional teams on testing requirements and quality assurance strategies.
- Provide guidance to associate automation quality engineers.
- Perform manual testing when needed and recommend automation best practices.
Requirements
- Require 2–4 years of overall testing experience, including 1–2 years of automation testing experience or equivalent automation training.
- Require proficiency in core Java programming concepts.
- Require experience with requirements analysis, automation testing tools, debugging, version control systems, BDD frameworks, SQL, database testing, UI/API functional testing, and JIRA or ZE management tools.
- Require experience with tools such as Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG, Git, and Cucumber.
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prefer strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, design, and estimation skills.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins is a plus.
