Functional QA Engineer (Temporary Contract)

Responsibilities
- Perform functional and regression testing for WordPress and WooCommerce applications.
- Validate emergency-profile workflows, end-user experiences, QR-based access, and profile retrieval workflows.
- Verify application behavior after security, PHP, architecture, and infrastructure changes.
- Test role-based access control permissions and access scenarios.
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and project stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Support validation for platform modernization, security improvements, and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of functional quality assurance experience.
- Strong experience with manual and functional testing, regression testing, and end-to-end validation.
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining test cases.
- Experience documenting, reporting, prioritizing, and tracking defects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage testing activities with minimal supervision.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- Nice-to-have experience with WordPress applications, WooCommerce implementations, security testing, automation tools or frameworks, RBAC, QR-based workflows, and healthcare, compliance, or security-sensitive applications.
