Responsibilities

  • Define and implement quality assurance best practices, test strategies, test plans, test cases, and related assets with Scrum teams.
  • Design, write, execute, and maintain automated and manual functional, regression, integration, and scale tests.
  • Perform UI web automation and API automation across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Support software releases through functional test validation and collaboration with development teams.
  • Investigate, record, triage, track, and verify defects through closure.
  • Identify quality risks and dependencies early and collaborate on mitigation and eradication plans.
  • Research and integrate modern QA tools and AI-driven testing capabilities, including AI-assisted test generation, predictive analysis, and smart automation.
  • Contribute to test automation framework architecture, advanced continuous testing pipelines, and broad-scope test strategy design.
  • Work cross-functionally with software developers, product managers, and quality engineers in Agile environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with UI web automation and API automation using established frameworks.
  • Experience with Java, Python, Jenkins, Docker, Maven, and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle, QA concepts, methodologies, and test management.
  • Competency with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Git.
  • Practical experience working in Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban, estimating work, and managing test data.
  • Ability to research, evaluate, and integrate modern QA tools and AI-driven testing capabilities.
  • Preferred experience with UI mobile automation, functional/manual testing, and performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
  • Familiarity with AWS services including S3, Lambda, EC2, and CloudWatch, or with security and accessibility testing.
