Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop functional web applications using object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and relational databases.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Build reusable code, libraries, testing frameworks, and automation to validate system behavior and improve application health and performance.
- Gather and address technical and design requirements while following team development standards.
- Monitor and support production systems, respond to on-call incidents, and resolve critical disruptions.
- Apply REST API best practices for security, scalability, standards compliance, and performance.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile framework and provide technical input to the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience; the listed range is 2–4 years of software development or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Programming experience in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#, with proven full-stack development experience.
- Experience with SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
- Understanding of the software development process and experience developing and deploying applications for cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience developing unit tests, UI automation tests, and integration tests.
- Familiarity with monitoring and supporting production systems, application performance measurements, and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical, time-management, teamwork, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Preferred experience includes SaaS offerings in technology or financial industries, Amazon Web Services, OpenTelemetry, and cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as Flutter.
