Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Own QA deliverables across assigned projects and features from inception and design reviews through validation, signoff, and release readiness.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, detailed test cases, regression coverage, and traceability across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and microservices.
- Perform manual black-box, exploratory, regression, usability, integration, and end-to-end testing of customer-facing and internal applications.
- Design, implement, maintain, and execute scalable automated test frameworks and suites using Playwright and Postman.
- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins and other CI/CD workflows and support continuous testing adoption.
- Identify risks, functional gaps, edge cases, defects, and regression-prevention measures throughout the SDLC.
- Mentor and guide offshore QA automation engineers and provide technical direction.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, software engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders on quality goals and delivery expectations.
- Document test coverage, automation frameworks, test data, processes, and results.
- Present QA progress, execution status, quality metrics, risks, mitigation plans, defect trends, and release-readiness updates to management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a master’s degree.
- Strong experience in both test automation and hands-on manual QA.
- Proven ability to own QA deliverables across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API, backend services, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright is required.
- Strong Postman API testing experience, including scripting and collection automation.
- Experience designing and executing end-to-end test plans across distributed systems.
- Experience with VS Code and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
- Prior experience testing Salesforce, Java Spring Boot, and AWS-based microservices.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, feature breakdowns, integration dependencies, business workflows, SDLC, QA processes, and regression prevention.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage offshore QA engineers.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide clear and structured project and quality updates to management.
- Ability to work onsite at least three days per week and collaborate with global teams.
