Base Salary
$153k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop GenAI solutions using current techniques from Databricks AI research to address customer problems.
- Build, deploy, and own production rollouts of consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across varied domains.
- Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit and act as an internal and external thought leader.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.
- Communicate and teach technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Demonstrated industry experience designing, building, and deploying production GenAI and LLM applications at scale.
- Experience building GenAI applications involving RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning, using tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
- Expertise deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimization.
- Extensive hands-on industry data science experience with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and related machine learning tools.
- Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience communicating or teaching technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience using the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark to process large-scale distributed datasets.
- Willingness to travel to customers approximately once every 4–8 weeks as needed.
