Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software for new platform use cases.
- Develop backend services using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Work with distributed, event-driven applications and interservice communication systems.
- Identify and resolve code, design, architecture, scalability, usability, and supportability gaps.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute code to other codebases.
- Write quality code and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Debug and troubleshoot software using log analysis and related techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with C# and the .NET Framework.
- Understanding of distributed systems, object-oriented design, and multithreaded programming.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and log-analysis skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of large-scale enterprise technology deployments.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using mocking or instrumentation.
- Experience developing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Ability to take ownership, determine what needs to be done, and execute it.
- Awareness of security and compliance considerations.
