Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web services, backend systems, and APIs.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the product and ensure defects are fixed.
- Analyze complex business logic and identify issues others may miss.
- Inspect, analyze, and modify network traffic during testing.
- Investigate issues thoroughly until their root causes are identified.
- Improve testing processes and contribute to overall product quality.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience testing web applications.
- Understanding of web technologies and client-server interactions.
- Experience working with at least one database.
- Ability to use tools such as Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman, or similar to inspect and modify network traffic.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and experience optimizing testing processes are preferred.
- Basic programming skills for writing scripts or creating simple automation are preferred; automation experience is not mandatory.
