Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional mobile initiatives with product, design, and engineering leadership.
- Own and evolve mobile application architecture, performance, accessibility, scalability, and maintainability.
- Define organizational standards for mobile quality, developer experience, design systems, and component consistency.
- Translate product and design concepts into intuitive, high-quality mobile interfaces.
- Own mobile application versioning, build generation, App Store and Play Store submissions, and post-release monitoring.
- Mentor senior engineers through coaching, workshops, and documentation.
- Champion mobile tooling, testing, CI/CD, and code quality practices across teams.
- Balance rapid experimentation with sustainable design while supporting user experience and business growth.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience leading complex frontend projects at scale with significant organizational impact.
- 3–4 years of deep mobile development experience with Swift or Kotlin and a record of shipping high-quality mobile applications.
- 1–2 years of experience with React or React Native.
- Experience shaping mobile architecture and technical strategy for consumer-facing products.
- Experience mentoring and developing senior engineers and creating frameworks for organization-wide growth and knowledge sharing.
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional influence across engineering, design, and product teams.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and cross-platform interface development.
- Experience with consumer, social, or marketplace products is preferred, particularly products focused on real-world communities.
