Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, high-severity production incidents and serve as the senior escalation point.
  • Coordinate cross-team resolution across streaming, player, advertising, DRM, CDN, and real-time systems.
  • Design and review infrastructure changes, improve deployment safety, and strengthen platform reliability.
  • Advance alerting, automation, and AI-augmented incident detection, triage, and response.
  • Lead operational planning and readiness validation for high-risk live customer events.
  • Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, runbook improvements, and post-incident reviews.
  • Correlate backend metrics, player telemetry, and CDN signals to diagnose customer issues end to end.
  • Participate in a global 24/7 on-call rotation and support service continuity across handovers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in operational, support, or similar customer-facing roles.
  • Deep experience operating and supporting large-scale production video streaming platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Expert understanding of HLS, DASH, CMAF, WebRTC, DRM, and CDN architectures.
  • Advanced experience with monitoring, alerting, and log-based incident diagnosis using Grafana, Kibana/ELK, Prometheus, and Loki.
  • Demonstrated leadership during high-severity customer-impacting incidents and the ability to influence outcomes beyond individual contribution.
  • Ability to own complex problems autonomously and safely execute production changes under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing incident communication.
