Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-severity production incidents and serve as the senior escalation point.
- Coordinate cross-team resolution across streaming, player, advertising, DRM, CDN, and real-time systems.
- Design and review infrastructure changes, improve deployment safety, and strengthen platform reliability.
- Advance alerting, automation, and AI-augmented incident detection, triage, and response.
- Lead operational planning and readiness validation for high-risk live customer events.
- Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, runbook improvements, and post-incident reviews.
- Correlate backend metrics, player telemetry, and CDN signals to diagnose customer issues end to end.
- Participate in a global 24/7 on-call rotation and support service continuity across handovers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in operational, support, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Deep experience operating and supporting large-scale production video streaming platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
- Expert understanding of HLS, DASH, CMAF, WebRTC, DRM, and CDN architectures.
- Advanced experience with monitoring, alerting, and log-based incident diagnosis using Grafana, Kibana/ELK, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Demonstrated leadership during high-severity customer-impacting incidents and the ability to influence outcomes beyond individual contribution.
- Ability to own complex problems autonomously and safely execute production changes under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing incident communication.
