Responsibilities

  • Develop Python automation scripts and flows.
  • Write and maintain C++ code in large codebases.
  • Improve the performance of key applications and benchmarks.
  • Apply concurrent programming and threading APIs.
  • Develop software for the Linux operating system.
  • Use debuggers, source control systems, and profilers as appropriate.
  • Plan and deliver complex system software products and lead multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Apply project management techniques including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Drive sophisticated technical issues to resolution and collaborate across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of software development experience; the preferred experience section also cites 8+ years.
  • Strong Python and C++ software development experience.
  • Experience with software fundamentals, object-oriented programming, concurrent programming, threading APIs, and large design-pattern-based codebases.
  • Experience with Linux operating system development.
  • Hands-on software engineering experience and a record of delivering high-quality, high-performance software on time.
  • Experience planning and delivering complex system software products.
  • EDA tools experience is preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
  • Ability to make business decisions in a technical environment, multitask, and lead projects with competing priorities.
