Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, debug, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Build AWS-based applications using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, and EKS.
- Integrate platforms and APIs supporting KYC, AML, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, security, and compliance in AWS environments.
- Create architecture and design artifacts, analyze data, develop visualizations and reporting, and support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintenance in a large corporate environment.
- Proficiency with one or more modern programming and database querying languages, including Java, Spring Boot, Python, Scala, or Node.js.
- Experience with Docker, ECS, EKS, serverless architectures, API integration, SQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of KYC, AML, sanctions, PEP, adverse media screening, and regulatory standards including FATF, OFAC, and EU requirements.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating or refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, security, and software development life cycle practices.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, application resiliency, security, cloud technologies, client screening platforms, monitoring tools, and CI/CD or DevOps practices is preferred.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or Developer are preferred.
