Responsibilities

  • Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives in the designated territory.
  • Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and technical champion development.
  • Influence stakeholders through complex engagements involving cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
  • Serve as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for Databricks data analytics architecture, design, and adoption.
  • Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Pursue development through technical specialization, industry thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management tracks.

Requirements

  • Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales lifecycles.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives while orchestrating teams toward long-term customer success.
  • Prior coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala and willingness to learn Spark.
  • Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
