Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python backend applications and high-performance APIs using Flask and Django.
- Write reusable, efficient code and participate in code reviews while mentoring junior developers.
- Architect and implement distributed microservices using Temporal workflows to orchestrate complex processes.
- Integrate backend systems with databases such as Cosmos DB and message queues such as Kafka and Event Hubs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and production incidents while contributing to sprint planning and estimations.
- Support the migration of legacy enterprise applications to microservice architecture, including data migration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor of Technology is listed as required.
- Three to six years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and experience with Django or Flask.
- Experience developing unit and integration tests using pytest and unittest.
- Experience integrating databases and message queues in backend systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
