Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate Azure-based cloud platform solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and automation tools.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and related scripting technologies.
- Automate provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud resources.
- Maintain and improve self-service platform capabilities based on .NET Core and Angular.
- Operate and develop the Azure Databricks platform for analytics, data, and AI workloads.
- Manage identity and access controls through Entra ID/Azure AD integration and RBAC.
- Implement secure networking, including private endpoints and secure cluster connectivity.
- Implement data governance capabilities using Unity Catalog and related Databricks services.
- Establish compute standards, governance controls, cost optimization practices, monitoring, logging, and security improvements.
- Support integrations with Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Snowflake, and other enterprise services.
- Improve platform performance, reliability, availability, sustainability, automation, and user experience.
- Support onboarding and adoption of platform capabilities across teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar in Azure environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, preferably in operations, governance, or platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of Azure Networking, Storage, App Services, Virtual Machines, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and PowerShell for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or modern data lake architectures.
- Understanding of cloud governance, security, identity, access management, and RBAC principles.
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Professional communication skills in English; local language skills are a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization is advantageous.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI or machine learning platforms is advantageous.
