Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute test cases and exploratory tests.
- Identify, record, track, and help resolve bugs throughout the release lifecycle.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases and perform regression testing after defect fixes.
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents and provide timely feedback.
- Establish repeatable manual testing processes to validate high-quality releases.
- Identify functional and non-functional issues and develop creative resolutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support timely delivery through planning, communication, and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant testing experience.
- Hands-on experience with load, performance, and security testing.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Understanding of software development, preferably Java, and continuous integration systems.
- Experience testing AWS and EC2 environments and testing APIs.
- Knowledge of DevOps is an added advantage.
- Strong written and oral communication, judgment, decision-making, and deadline-management skills.
