Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for Insurance applications in alignment with business and enterprise architecture objectives
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to engineering teams from design through delivery
- Design modern distributed application architectures, cloud-native integrations, and scalable digital platforms
- Use Generative AI and AI-assisted development to accelerate solution design, prototyping, development, testing, and delivery
- Identify opportunities to embed AI into Commercial Insurance workflows and applications
- Translate complex insurance requirements into scalable technical solutions with business and technology stakeholders
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, data privacy, responsible AI, and governance
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or technical leadership
- Strong Commercial Insurance domain experience covering areas such as quoting, underwriting, policy administration, broker workflows, and servicing
- Expertise in distributed systems, API-first architectures, cloud-native applications, and modern integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI-assisted development, or integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration, and the Software Development Life Cycle
- Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Preferred experience delivering Commercial Insurance digital transformation, proofs of concept, or product accelerators
- Preferred experience with GenAI/LLM solutions, RAG, AI agents, model APIs, or enterprise AI platforms
- Preferred understanding of Responsible AI, data privacy, security, and governance in regulated environments
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including AI/GenAI services
- Preferred hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, or modern AI development frameworks
- Consulting experience in Financial Services or Insurance, especially Commercial Insurance
