Base Salary
$85k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support integration of image generators into simulators and trainers at prime contractor and end-user sites.
- Work with customers to meet program requirements and bring image generators to ready-for-training status.
- Develop, modify, and debug Aechelon and customer software as needed.
- Assess and resolve image-generator discrepancy reports with program management and customers.
- Work with software engineering and systems test engineering teams to reproduce and resolve runtime bugs.
- Provide email and phone support for image generators and their interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical field.
- 1-3 years of software development and/or software integration experience.
- Experience with C and C++ programming.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance needed to visit customer sites.
- Preferred: master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical field.
- Preferred: active security clearance and 3+ years of software development or integration experience in real-time, flight simulator, display-system, or similar fields.
- Preferred: strong C and C++ skills, OpenGL, Qt GUI SDK, PC-based image generators, scripting languages, Microsoft Visual Studio, defect tracking systems, and configuration management systems.
