Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through implementation of Heartflow’s SaaS diagnostic technology in hospital and clinical environments.
- Advise customers on network protocols, security, data protection, medical imaging data transfer, cloud-hosted platforms, and SaaS solutions.
- Work with clinical and engineering resources onsite to deploy solutions within existing infrastructure and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, including Linux, networking, virtualization, and implementation problems.
- Document issues, manage customer-issue knowledge resources, and provide prompt resolution.
- Share customer feedback, feature requests, workarounds, bugs, and infrastructure information with engineering, security, regulatory, support, and technology teams.
- Contribute customer feedback to the Customer Relationship Management system and help analyze data for technology improvements.
- Participate in the global Field Engineering team and work independently in customer-facing situations.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering or a B.S. in Computer Science is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a Linux environment.
- At least 2 years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
- Required knowledge of virtualization technologies and experience deploying and troubleshooting virtual machines.
- Experience supporting large-scale websites or web-based products.
- Working knowledge of HL7, clinical workflows, PACS, DICOM, HIPAA requirements, and PHI protections.
- Experience troubleshooting IP, routing, connectivity, and latency issues.
- Understanding of data protection, encryption, web services, and certificates.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting, services, and logs, and VMware/ESX features.
- Demonstrated customer-facing skills and the ability to work independently, under pressure, and cross-functionally.
- Comfort presenting to groups and customers and managing priorities in high-pressure situations.
