Base Salary
$79k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers and support account teams in presenting, demonstrating, and selling Esri software and solutions.
- Develop state and local government subject-matter expertise and serve as a technical expert on ArcGIS and Esri technologies.
- Craft and propose GIS solutions that address customer business challenges and align Esri technology with customer strategies.
- Present technical demonstrations and design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide best practices for the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology.
- Present at conferences and trade shows and help plan and execute sales strategies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
- At least 1 year of experience working in or supporting state or local government.
- Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Experience in technical consulting, conceptual solution design, and sales and business development processes.
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25–50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, client troubleshooting experience, software integration experience, real-time information stream integration, AI and machine learning knowledge, and Python or JavaScript programming and scripting experience.
